Total Power Selection & Calculation of Electric Heater

Power selection is aimed at the full application of heaters. A necessary step before it's put into operation. The thermal efficiency of heater approximates 1, The power of heater is also called the heat-producing capability.
Because the thermal efficiency of electric heater is almost 1, so we can think that the power of electric heater is the heating quantity.

1、Consideration in the selection of power
The following three items must be taken into consideration in the selection and calculation:
⑴ In the initial condition, the medium must be heated to a preset temperature (working temperature ) in a certain period of time.
⑵ At working stage, the heat should keep the medium at a constant temperature.
⑶ The average safety margin is 1.2

Obviously, multiplied by the safety margin, the greater power is the one that must be selected.
